My Story
I was born in a government hospital in Agartala and spent my school years at Holy Cross School, where I learned the earliest lessons of discipline, curiosity, and resilience. Growing up in Tripura laid the foundation of who I am today—a serene childhood filled with community values, simple ambitions, and a deep appreciation for the people and landscape around me.
The next decade of my life unfolded in Delhi. I graduated from medical school and was rigorously preparing for a demanding career in surgery when, without warning, life collapsed beneath my feet. I was diagnosed with an incurable neurological disease. In rapid succession, I lost vision in one eye, and my limbs began to go numb. Within months, following two major neurosurgeries, I found myself lying in a hospital bed partially paralyzed, facing a prognosis that doctors believed would likely confine me to a wheelchair for the rest of my life.
"That day, I had only one wish left: to stand on my own feet again. So I did."
In a matter of months, I had lost nearly everything I had built my identity around: my surgical career, my physical independence, and many of the relationships I held closest to my heart. Yet it was in that state of absolute void that I realized healing is not merely a biological occurrence, but an active manifestation of will. I refused to let my diagnosis write the final chapter of my life.
I learned how to walk again. Then how to write again. Then how to move, rebuild, and begin again. Eventually, I walked out of the hospital and returned home to Agartala with a renewed sense of purpose: to build a completely new life, pioneering business, health, and lifestyle ventures directly from the ruins of the old one.
"We are not defined by what collapses around us, but by the conviction with which we rebuild."
